2025-26 Season Evaluation Skates

The GTHL has moved U8 (players born 2018) and U9 (players born 2017) evaluation skates/tryouts to the spring instead of the fall. If your player is interested in attending these skates, please sign up using the links provided below. In addition, please review the new process for trying out for a Humber Valley U8 or U9 CDP team. U7 (2019/2020) evaluation skates will still be held in September. 

U8 (2018) Evaluation Skates
New this year – With tryouts prior to player registration we will require a $20 cash fee per skate collected at sign-in to cover ice costs. 

U9 (2017) Evaluation Skates
New this year – With tryouts prior to player registration we will require a cash fee per skate collected at sign-in to cover ice costs. Cost varies by team:

• $20 for Tier 1, 2 & 3 evaluation skates
• $30 for NYHL Elite evaluation skates.

Goalies – U9 goalies should attend the tier that aligns with their skill level. Players interested in playing goalie for U8 should attend the tier 1 evaluation skate. Any goalies needing equipment can contact Emily at echiang@humbervalleyhockey.com. 

CDP Tryout Process

There are two ways to attend CDP tryouts with Humber Valley. You must only complete one of them:

1. Register with Humber Valley House League for the 2025-26 Season
   • Bring your proof of registration to tryouts
   • After registering, the primary email address on the player’s profile will receive a confirmation receipt—this serves as proof of registration.
   • This receipt must be shown to the club/tryout manager before stepping onto the ice.
   • Be sure to check both your inbox and junk folder for the receipt.
   • REGISTER WITH HUMBER VALLEY HL HERE, OR
2. If you are attending tryouts with Humber Valley and other clubs, do not register with Humber Valley house league, rather you must register with the GTHL tryout link prior to attending any tryouts.

All players must provide proof of registration before stepping on the ice. If a Player Hasn’t Registered:

• Players who have not completed registration will not be allowed on the ice.
