How do I recover my Hockey Canada Registration site password?

Click on the “Forgot your password?” link located on the Hockey Canada Registration login page. Your will be asked to a few questions to verify your identity. The password will be emailed to you.

How will I receive my password if my email address has changed?

You will have an opportunity to edit your email address during the password recovery process outlined above.

How do I change my password?

Once you have logged into the Hockey Canada Registration site, you can change your password by clicking on the “Change my ID/Password” link located on the right side of your profile. You may access your profile by entering your existing ID and password after clicking the registration button on this website.

Are parents or guardians required to complete any certifications?

One parent or guardian of each player must complete the Respect in Sports Certification for parents before the player registration will be confirmed. Click here to learn more.

Am I required to submit any documentation to register my child?

All NEW players registering for the first time at Humber Valley must submit a copy of their birth certificate. All players/parents must also review the appropriate Rowan’s Law resource for their age group and acknowledge that they have done so. You can learn more about Rowan’s Law here. These requirements will be submitted/acknowledged within the registration platform.

What number do I reference from my child’s birth certificate?

Use the number that starts with the actual year of birth – see below.

I chose the cheque payment option when I registered. I have changed my mind and I would rather pay by credit card. Is this possible?

There is no way to adjust your payment option. Cheque payments should be sent to:

Is there a way to print my invoice after I have registered?

Yes. Log into the Hockey Canada Registration site, enter your ID and password and click the “Receipt” link located to the right of your name.

How will I know if my child’s registration has been confirmed?

ALL registrants will go on a pre-registration list until all conditions of registration are met. The conditions of acceptance are as follows:
– Player information must be entered completely and accurately
– A copy of the player’s birth certificate must be submitted for new players within the registration process
– Parent or guardian must complete the Respect In Sport Certification
Rowan’s Law resource has been reviewed and the acknowledgement has been completed within the registration process
– Payment must be received in full. Cheque payments may be sent to:

Are friend and coach requests accepted?

Yes! We do our best to accommodate friend and coach requests though at times it may not be possible. You will have an opportunity to make a request during the registration process.

When will I be contacted regarding the start of the season/what team my child has been placed on?

You will be contacted by the end of September. If you have not been contacted by this time, please email info@humbervalleyhockey.com, include your player’s name and year of birth and we will look into the situation and get back to you promptly.

When does the hockey season start?

House League hockey starts annually in the fall and usually in late September or early October.

How will my child’s schedule be communicated?

The schedule will be made available in late September. You will be contacted by email by a league convenor or coach with season details and what to expect. You will also receive an invitation to join your team via the TeamSnap app. This app allows you to view your child’s schedule and to receive communications directly from your coach.
