April at Humber Valley
As we close out the 2025–26 season, it’s a great moment to reflect on what has been an incredibly positive year across Humber Valley. While most of our teams have wrapped up their seasons, we’re still cheering on our U10AA Sharks as they continue their playoff run - we wish you the best of luck against Forest Hill. Go Sharks! 🦈💙
This season would not have been possible without the dedication and commitment of so many people in our community. A sincere thank you to our volunteers, coaches, players, and families - your time, energy, and passion are what make Humber Valley such a special place to play hockey.
As we turn the page to next season, we’re excited to share that registration is now open, and we look forward to building on this year’s success and making 2026–27 our best season yet.

Jr. House League Year End Festival
On April 4th, our Junior House League families came together for a full day of tournament-style games to celebrate the end of another successful season.
We took over multiple ice pads at CWENCH, along with the party room, for a fun-filled day of cheers, goals, music, food, and plenty of happy players. Our raffle raised over $300 for the Daily Bread Food Bank, thanks to the generous support of Stride Hockey, Play It Again Sports, and Hockey Stick Man.
A big thank you to our older Sharks players who volunteered their time to help the day run smoothly, as well as to our dedicated parent coaches who spent countless early mornings and hours throughout the season helping our youngest players learn the game and build a love for hockey.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another great season next year!
CDP Year End Festival
Last weekend marked a fantastic close to the season as all CDP teams came together for the Year-End CDP Festival. It was a great celebration of the hard work and development shown by our players throughout the year, with a weekend full of fun and games.
A special congratulations to our Sharks U9 Black team, who captured GOLD at the Tier 1 CDP Festival - an incredible achievement and a perfect way to cap off the season! 💙
As we look ahead, planning is already underway for next year. U8 and U9 tryout information is now available, and families are encouraged to review the details and registration requirements.
We are pleased to welcome Casey Stratton as the new CDP Convenor for the 2026–27 season. Casey brings valuable experience as a long-time CDP parent and a strong commitment to the program, and we look forward to seeing her around the rink next season.
We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to Emily Chiang for her years of commitment to building the CDP program. Under her leadership, the program has continued to evolve into a premier destination for player development in the west end. We wish Emily all the best and thank her for the lasting impact she has made on Humber Valley.
Thank you to all our players, coaches, and families for a wonderful season and we look forward to seeing everyone back on the ice soon.
